CISTRANS is an independent scientific editing and language consulting service based in Switzerland. Since 2016, CISTRANS has supported researchers, companies and institutions in the final stage of their writing, ensuring that scientific and technical documents are accurate, consistent and clear, whether for publication or regulatory submission.
Affiliated with MET (Mediterranean Editors and Translators) and EASE (European Association of Science Editors).

Machine Translation & AI Post-Editing
For Machine Translation and AI output, two levels of Post-Editing are offered: Light Post-Editing and Full Post-Editing. Light Post-Editing corrects errors and checks accuracy and clarity. Full Post-Editing goes further, with an in-depth revision of style, tone and terminology to reach the quality of a human translation.

AUTHOR EDITING [EN]
English-language editing of manuscripts, including the abstract, for submission to peer-reviewed journals. The edit covers clarity, logical flow, discipline-specific terminology, description of methods, academic style and grammar. Figure and table captions are reviewed and the manuscript is formatted according to the target journal's Instructions for Authors.
